My reservations About this book are three. I'm going to list them in ascending order of concern. First, the misprints are far too many, a real sabotage against the simple style and smooth adopted by the authors. Secondly - along the lines of certain writings Tentori - Chianese and Wolves tend to apply the dictates of the politique des auteurs somewhat 'fanatic: All movies of Lucio Fulci are beautiful in themselves, even those not even a lawyer The Devil agrees to defend. Mind you, everyone has their own idols, however Filming death lacks the so-called "critical distance", so that often borders on the monograph nell'agiografia (from this point of view was the smart choice editorial to balance the opinions through an interview with the most skeptical Dardano Sacchetti). Finally, the aspect that I found most annoying is the excessive space devoted to synopses of the plots: I personally would have preferred a study of the real problems posed by the downward career fulciana (for example the relationship between genre films and television between the end client 80s and early 90s).
